When more is more — and it works.

Rhodes riverside — a 2-bedroom apartment turned into a fully styled showcase.

Some apartments are fine with “the usual”. This one wasn’t.

At Marquet Street, the bones were good: two bedrooms, a west-facing balcony catching golden sunsets over Parramatta River, and access to a pool, gym, and spa. But it felt sterile — all sharp angles, tiled floors, and no real warmth. Buyers saw a space. They didn’t see a home.

So we did what Goldpac does best: went all in.

Instead of our standard staging formula, we doubled down — literally. Twice as much furniture and accessories as we’d usually bring to a two-bed apartment. The goal? To layer the space until it radiated life. In the living area, two contrasting lounge zones — creamy sofas softened with bold, patterned cushions and a nested pair of coffee tables — drew attention away from the hard tiles and toward the flowing balcony view.

Even the narrow entry corridor, typically left blank, became a statement: a slimline console table, a sculptural mirror, and carefully chosen accessories created a welcoming arrival moment that made people stop and look.

And the balcony? No token chairs here. We treated it like a second living room, with a two-seater sofa, armchairs, and a proper coffee table — turning “outdoor space” into an extension of the apartment. In the bedrooms, we played with mood: deep navy tones in one for a cool, calm retreat; muted blush in the other for softness and warmth.

It was bold. It was full. And it worked.

Inspections felt different: buyers lingered, explored, and commented on how “move-in ready” it felt. Instead of imagining what could be, they saw it. And for the agent, that meant one thing: enquiries started coming in fast.

“We wanted impact — and they nailed it. It felt like a display apartment, but lived in.” – Agent
