Murdoch Street | Quiet, Green, Surprisingly Refined

Cremorne | 2 Bedrooms | Sold Quietly, Styled Intelligently

Just minutes from Neutral Bay, yet tucked into one of Cremorne’s most peaceful pockets — this unit was all about balance: privacy, greenery, and vintage bones ready for a fresh chapter.

We leaned into what the space already had:

🪟 Big windows

🌴 Lush outlooks

🧱 Solid brick character

But what it lacked was connection — between zones, between tones, between old and new.

So we brought in warm contemporary styling: a mix of soft textures, minimalist lines, and just enough retro detail to respect the building’s soul.

🪄 Key styling moves:

Living Room:

Neutral base with layered shapes — circular coffee tables to soften the long layout, textured pillows for depth, and a sideboard that doubles as an art anchor.

Dining Nook:

A favourite corner. Surrounded by windows, we kept it airy and sculptural with curved chairs, clean lines, and a centrepiece with organic height.

Bedroom:

Light blues and deep charcoals — to stay calm but never cold.

Balcony:

Just one small round table, two statement chairs — enough to say: this is where you’ll have morning coffee with the trees.

TIP for styling older units? Don’t fight the architecture. Use it as contrast. Modern curves look even better against classic bricks.
